Labor/Social classes

Middle Classes

One of the greatest changes during the Economic classes period was the growth of the Middle Class. Middle Classes included bankers, shopkeepers, and professional people, such as doctors and lawyers. At the bottom were the factory workers and farmworkers.

Divisions in Society

Egyptian society was highly organized. People belonged to different Social Classes. Social Classes group people of the same level of importance in their society. The highest, or ruling, class in Egypt was made up of the king, important government officials, priests, and warriors. The division in society also  included their families as well.
